Being a bit (or lot, depending on who you talk to) of a geek has its downsides. One is getting far too excited about the fact The Big Bang Theory starts again in a couple of weeks. Another is having a geek/nerd responsibility to go to the nearest gaming venue on World Table Top Game day and play games.
So on Saturday it's off to Table Top Nation to demo some Dreadball and then play some X-wing on their death star table and maybe play bushido just to see if it's really as bad as I remember it to be; it really looks like it should be a good game.
Salute is looming and after thinking I may not be able to justify the overall expense I have been saved by the great chaps at Gripping Beast on the proviso that I run a few games of M&T. Indians hunting retreating Rangers seems to be beckoning.
A geeks work is never done.
Having a debate at home if my new career path will make me more of a science nerd than I am already. Only time will tell.
